Chelsea Guebert, B.Sc.(PT), B.Sc.(Kin), CSCS
Chelsea graduated with great distinction from the physiotherapy program at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008. Over the past 8 years she has worked in a sport and orthopedic physiotherapy clinic in Saskatoon gaining experience with clinical treatment, personal and team training, and sport event medical coverage. As former member of the University of Saskatchewan Huskies Soccer program, Chelsea had the opportunity to provide speed-agility-quickness/strength and conditioning training to the High-Performance Development Center (HPDC) soccer program for the past 4 years. She has a genuine interest in sport and active living, and is currently a volunteer with Saskatoon Minor Football. Chelsea has a passion for working with people of all ages and abilities.
Chelsea was the 2008 Recipient of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Prize and the CRHAP/CPA Student Excellence Award for the School of Physical Therapy, 2007 Recipient of the Marj Braid Bursary in Physical Therapy, 2007 Dean's Medal recipient from the College of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan, and 2006 recipient of the Arthritis Society Continuing Student Award for the School of Physical Therapy.
